Campers travel with their cabin mates through a schedule of exciting Skill Areas. The following is an example of what to expect. Skill Areas are subject to change. All activities will be done in a COVID-safe manner. All equipment is cleaned in between each hour of use. According to government regulations, masks will be required specifically while campers climb the rock wall.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change weeks?
You may change weeks of camp. After May 1, 2023, there is a $20 fee per session change. Notice for session changes may be sent by e-mail to camp@triplerranch.org or mail to the front office.
Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are refundable under the following circumstances: if camp cannot open due to regulations or your family has to quarantine due to sickness or exposure your deposit is refundable. For other reasons the cancellation policy is this: A $200 deposit is required to register, of which $100 is non-refundable, and $100 is refunded if written notice is received 30 days prior to registered session. For cancellations made within 30 days of registered session, there is no refund of the $200 deposit. If for any reason you must cancel, a written notice must be submitted to camp@triplerranch.org or mailed to our office. No refunds are offered in the event of homesickness or dismissal for errant behavior
Does Triple R Ranch have a form for the required physical?
No, Triple R Ranch does not have a specific form. The physical can be a general physical provided by and signed by the child's doctor (the Virginia school entrance health form covers the requirements). This must be done within the past two years before arriving at camp.
Can I reserve a top or bottom bunk for my overnight camper?
Yes, you can purchase our Reserve-a-Bunk care package to reserve a top or bottom bunk for your camper with a Triple R Ranch souvenir. Care packages are available for purchase here.
What if there is a waitlist?
We take a waitlist for each camp session in case there is a cancelation from anyone registered. We only offer spots to campers on the waitlist if any spots in camp open up.
If my camper is on the waitlist, how will I know if a spot opens?
We will send you an email so the information gets to you as soon as possible. You will have a week to accept or decline before we move on to the next camper on the waitlist. Please remember that accepting a spot in camp requires a $200 deposit that can be paid over the phone or via check or cash in the mail or in the office. We will send a confirmation email and receipt once your camper is registered.
How do I get my camper on the waitlist?
Sign up in the parent portal and go through the registration process. Any sessions with a waitlist will have a waitlist button instead of a registration button. Add any sessions to your cart and finish the checkout process. You do not have to pay anything to be on the waitlist, but be sure to finish the process. If the session is left in your cart, and you do not finish, your camper will not be on the waitlist. You will receive a confirmation email when your camper is officially on the waitlist.
Can I put my campers on more than one waitlist for camp?
Yes! You can add your camper to multiple waitlists, even if you only intend to register for one session.
What are the chances my camper will be offered a spot in camp off the waitlist?
We cannot guarantee any camper on the waitlist will receive a spot in camp. Our camp capacity is dependent on available cabins and hired counselors each week. If another camper cancels, we will not hesitate to offer that spot to a camper on the waitlist. Every summer, we have offered spots to campers on the waitlist because plans change, but we do not guarantee it will happen for your camper.
