from Norfolk:
Take I 64 East to exit 291 B. Prepare for immediate merge left to take I-464 S/VA-168 toward Elizabeth City/Outer Banks. Continue on the 168 bypass approximately 5.8 miles to first Hanbury Rd exit (10A). Go west on Hanbury 1.25 miles (past traffic light and Great Bridge High school on left). This road ends at Johnstown Rd. Turn left onto Johnstown and travel go 4.3
miles. Turn right at Benefit Rd and travel .5 mi. to Bunch
Walnuts. Turn left onto Bunch Walnuts Rd. and travel approximately 2 miles. Triple R is on your left, about 200 yards after crossing
the bridge.
from Va. Beach:
Take I-264 to I-64 E.
Take I 64 East to exit 291 B. Prepare for
immediate merge left to take I-464 S/VA-168 toward Elizabeth City/Outer
Banks. Continue on the 168 bypass approximately 5.8 miles to first
Hanbury Rd exit (10A). Go west on Hanbury 1.25 miles (past traffic

from the Peninsula:
Take 664 to 64 west. Take 64 W. to your first 291 exit labeled 168 Great Bridge / Nags Head (it is just beyond the 292 exit). Take the 168 by pass 5 miles to first Hanbury Rd exit. Stay on Hanbury 1.25 miles to Johnstown Rd. Turn left at Johnstown go 4.3 miles turn right at Benefit Rd. On Benefit go .5 mile turn left at Bunch Walnuts. The Triple-R is 2 miles down on the left.
from the Eastern Shore:
After crossing the Ches. Bay Bridge Tunnel stay on 13 to interstate 64 East (just beyond Lake Wright Motel). Take I 64 East to exit 291 B. Prepare for
immediate merge left to take I-464 S/VA-168 toward Elizabeth City/Outer
Banks. Continue on the 168 bypass approximately 5.8 miles to first
Hanbury Rd exit (10A). Go west on Hanbury 1.25 miles (past traffic
light and Great Bridge High school on left). This road ends at

Take 58 East to 64 West. Take 64 W. to your first 291 exit labeled I-464 S/VA-168 toward Elizabeth City/Outer

from North Carolina's Outer Bans (Duck, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head):
Take 168 North to first stop light in Va. Turn left and then right onto Ballahack Rd. Take first right at light which continues Ballahack and go 5.25 miles- turn right on Bunch Walnuts Rd. Triple-R is 1 mile on right.
from Elizabeth City, North Carolina:
Take Route 17 North To Ballahack Rd (.5 mile into Va.). Turn right and go 5.25 miles turn left onto bunch Walnuts Rd. Triple-R is 1 mile on right.
SEVERE WEATHER
In severe rainy weather, it is not uncommon for many of the roads around Triple R to flood even though Triple R Ranch is NOT flooded. In the case of severe weather please contact the Ranch before you travel, to verify that we are still open for operation and the roads passable(757-421-4177).
If we are open you may be directed to follow the High Water route below.
HIGH WATER / ALTERNATE ROUTE (call before traveling)
from Norfolk and points north - Follow 168 by pass south, through toll booth ($2.00).
Turn right at Old Battlefield Blvd (traffic light) and go .2 mi. Turn right on Ballahack Rd. (convenience store on corner) and go
5.7mi. Turn right on Bunch Walnuts Rd. Triple-R is 1 mile on the
right.
